Busy Week for Will

This week is a busy week for us! I am super excited about Will's birthday on Thursday and his party on Saturday. My parents get here Thursday night and Will is anxious to see his Grandparents!

We had a fun weekend, on Saturday we met Mike's mom at Prestonwood Country Club for swimming and an early dinner. Will had a great time in the pool and it wasn't very crowded so that was nice. Sunday I went to a baby shower for Kelly and it was great! She got lots of good stuff, and I got to visit with Heather for a while so that was nice. She is about to have her baby Mason ANY DAY!! I can't wait!!

Peek-A-Boo Will

1 week and 1 day...

There is only 1 week and 1 day left until Will's 1st birthday. I am so excited and can't believe its almost here! Sadly, this means my 28th birthday is almost here and I am not excited about that. (My birthday is July 15th and Will's is the 16th) We didn't do much over 4th of July because Will had his first fever! I was so upset. He almost made it to his birthday without being sick once! He didn't have any other symptoms, just a fever and it went away very quickly so that was good. This week we don't have much going on, Will is getting his 3rd haircut today and then we have Gymboree class on Friday. We are just running last minute errands and getting stuff done for the party! (which is next weekend) I made a cute slideshow of Will's 1st year and I was going to post it, but there are way too many fat pictures of me in it. HA! Trust me, you don't want to see those.

Happy Father's Day!

I should have posted this yesterday, but we were out of town......so Happy Father's Day Michael! Will says you are the best dad in the world and he loves you so much. You are a great dad and I love you! And Happy Father's Day to my dad and father in law as well! We were lucky enough to get to spend Father's Day with my Dad this year.

11 Months Old

Happy 11 Month Birthday William!! I cannot believe there is only one month left until Will's birthday. I am so excited but also sad that my little guy is growing up! Happy 11 Months to my sweet baby, I love you so much!! You are wonderful and are such a blessing!

Shower for Mason Scott

On Friday we had a couples baby shower at our house for Heather and Dan. The shower was wonderful and we had so much fun, one of our neighbors even threatened to call the police. HA! I guess she didn't like all the cars parked on the street....Anyway...Heather is due July 19th and their baby is going to be named Mason Scott Hayward. We are so excited for him to get here and Will can't wait to have a cousin! Here are some pictures from the shower...Heather, I stole some pics from your blog, hope you don't mind! :)

Sleepy Boy

Today I went to check on Will while he was taking a much needed nap. This is how I found him sleeping in his crib...PRECIOUS!!! I don't think there is anything cuter than a sleeping baby. I love this little guy!!

3 Years

Happy 3 Year Anniversary to my wonderful husband! I can't believe it has been 3 years....it goes by so fast! Michael, you are the best husband and the most amazing father. I am so blessed! Here are some pictures from our wedding day, such fun memories!!

Ball Pit Fun

If you know Will, you know how much he loves to throw balls and chase them around the house. He is obsessed with throwing things and chasing after them. Today we went to Target and got him a bag of 100 plastic balls and a blow up pool. We put the pool in our living room and filled it with all the balls and Will loves it!! Here he is playing in his new ball pit.

My Little Fish

Yesterday we took Will swimming for the first time and he loved it! He loves taking a bath and splashing in the water, so I knew he was going to love being in the pool. We went over to Kelly and Bill's pool and had a great time! Will starts swimming lessons in June so I am very excited about more pool time for him! Here are some pictures of my little fish.

10 Months Old

Tomorrow Will is going to be 10 months old! That means his birthday is only 2 months away...I can't believe it!! I am so excited for his 1st birthday, but I am sad that my little baby is growing up so fast. A few weeks ago we had some 9 month pictures taken.....they turned out pretty good, but I am planning on having our wedding photographer (Kym at F8 Studio-LOVE HER) take some 12 month pictures of him this summer. Here is a 10 month photo of him taken today, along with some of his 9 month pics. I am not crazy about the background in the last picture, but Will looks pretty cute in it, so I had to post it anyway.

Sooner Boy

I don't really have anything to post today, but I found a Sooners jersey for Will at the mall this morning. I tried it on him and took a picture. He is ready for football season to start! :)

Happy Birthday Abby!

Yesterday was Abby's birthday and she turned 4! She has lived way beyond her life expectancy! For those of you who don't know Abby, she has megaesophagus, a disease that is not curable. When she was diagnosed the doctors told us she might live to be a year and a half or two years. I am so happy she has made it this far and I know she will be with us for many more years! Happy Birthday to my sweet Abby! We love you so much!

Playdates

Will has had a busy week! On Tuesday we went to Aunt Heather's house and had a playdate with Reagan and Reichly. Will had so much fun watching Reichly dance all over the place and walk behind her walker.


Today we met my friend Jessica and her son Ellis at the park. I used to work with Jessica and haven't seen her in almost 4 years so it was fun to catch up. Her son is 2 months younger than Will and SO cute! Will and Ellis had fun playing together and loved checking out each other's toys.


In other news, I have a sewing class tonight and I am excited about it! I got a new sewing machine about a month ago and I haven't figured out how to use it yet. I am planning on making some things for Will and my soon-to-be nephews!

"Da-da"

Will says "da-da" all the time, but I finally got it on tape yesterday. He obviously has no idea what it means, but it is really cute to hear him say it. As you can see in the video, he loses all interest when I try to get him to say "ma-ma". Figures!
