A Quick Christmas Preview....

We had a wonderful Christmas! We got to spend a lot of time with friends and family...I am very sad that everyone is gone now and our house seems so empty. Here are just a few pictures from our Christmas. Many many more pictures to come soon!

Trains at Northpark and Santa's Village

Here are some pictures from some of my favorite family Christmas traditions....Trains at Northpark and Santa's Village.

Will loved the trains, as usual. He was VERY excited to see Thomas the Train was there again this year. Jack loved the trains too!! I hear that Santa might be bringing them their own electric train this year.....just like the ones at Northpark!!

I always went to Santa's Village when I was little, so I love to take my kiddos there! It was really crowded when we went, but I did manage to get a few cute pictures. Will got to visit a couple of the little houses and Jack loved all the lights and decorations.

This weekend will be full of more fun activities.....looking at Christmas lights, soccer, 2 birthday parties and a Christmas party! Happy Friday everyone!

Will's Christmas Program and Party

Will had his Christmas Music Program at school last week, as well as his class Christmas Party. I was SO looking forward to the music program and loved it. Will did really well up there on the stage, I was so proud of him!! His class sang 2 songs, one about Jesus and one about reindeer.

Gingerbread Fun

Last week Sara and Stella came over to see the house, have lunch, play and decorate mini gingerbread houses. Well, the houses wouldn't stand up, so we ended up just decorating all the little pieces like cookies instead. The kids had fun, and I enjoyed my time with Sara as always!

Here are Will and Jack in their matching shirts. Sara actually got this shirt for Jack for his birthday. I loved it so much that I got one for Will too.

Jack's First Steps

Someone took his first steps last night!! SO proud of my little baby boy!!

Breakfast With Santa

Last Saturday we went to the Breakfast with Santa fundraiser at Will's preschool. I volunteered at the event and got to stand on stage with Santa for over an hour....ha! The fundraiser was a big success with over one thousand people attending!

Will and I wrote some letters to Santa...

First Week in December

Well, I am a little behind on the blog again, but things are busy around here with all our Christmas activities! We had a very fun first week of December with lots going on and fun Christmas traditions.

I made our family an advent wreath, Will seems to think it is neat to light the candles each Sunday

We made our first gingerbread house of the season
and our first batch of peppermint bark

We enjoyed listening to Christmas music and making cookies on a cold, rainy Friday morning

Jack had fun on a trip to Target

and Sunday night we had some family fun playing Wii Just Dance 2.....my personal favorite songs are the Katy Perry and Beyonce ones :)
