Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful and busy Easter weekend. On Saturday we met the Hayward/Love families at Gleneagles Country Club for an Easter Fair and Brunch. The cousins had a blast running around together, dancing with a clown, and riding the train. Will rode the little train 4 times, he was obsessed. The nice man running the train let Will blow the whistle, he thought it was pretty cool.

On Sunday we headed to church for a beautiful Easter church service. Will went to Sunday School and had a good time playing. Then we headed over to Gran and Coach's house for Easter lunch....then came home and John and Kara came over for Easter dinner.

Jack's First Food

Last night Jack got his first taste of real food! He looks excited and happy in this first picture...but he was not crazy about the sweet potatoes I made for him. Oh well....we will try again tonight! Will was a big helper, always looking out for his little brother :)

6 Months Old

Jack turned 6 months old on Saturday, I cannot believe how fast he is growing up! Happy 6 Months Jack! We love you SO SO much, you are our sweet angel baby.

Jack doesn't have his 6 month appointment till next week, so I'll have to post his stats later....we love you Jackie Boy!

Easter Cookies and an Egg Hunt

On Friday Will and I made Easter cookies after I picked him up from Mother's Day Out. He loves to make cookies, but is never really interested in eating them.....I am sure that will change once he gets older. His favorite were the ones that looked like Easter eggs.

Saturday, we went to the Plano Egg Hunt. Will was a little freaked out by the creepy Easter bunny, and stayed far away from him. He LOVED hunting for eggs and did really well! He got a lot of eggs and was very excited to see what treasures were inside the eggs.

Homemade Baby Food and Time with Mason Man

This morning I made my first batch of baby food for Jack. I made some baby food for Will, and I am planning on making all of Jack's food. I made organic sweet potatoes for him, I hope he likes them! I was able to make 13 meals, and it only cost me $1.88. Economical and healthier!! I haven't started him on food yet, so I popped these in the freezer. And here are some cute pictures of Will and Mason. Heather and Dan watched Will for a couple of hours on Saturday while Mike and I went to a meeting. Will had a blast and was exhausted when we got home.

Sunday at the Arboretum

On Sunday we went to the Dallas Arboretum with the Hayward/Love families to celebrate Coach's birthday.....The boys had a blast chasing each other around, looking at all the fun flowers, ponds, water fountains, castles, etc. Here are a bunch of pictures from our wonderful day.
