Santa and a Movie

Yesterday we took the boys to see Santa. Will was VERY excited. Jack was more excited about the snow globe exhibit, but he did sit on Santa's lap!

Will told Santa that he wants a Ninja Turtle Van, and that Jack wants a workbench.  So sweet!
Jack sat on his lap long enough to get a picture, then he was ready to get up.  I am just glad there were no tears! Success!

I had to include this picture of Will's nativity scene.......he is really proud of it.  Haha.

After we went to see Santa, Mike took Will to see Wreck it Ralph.  He LOVED it! They had a fun afternoon together!

Disney on Ice

Yesterday we ended our holiday weekend with a trip to Disney On Ice!
The boys really enjoyed the show.  They each got a special treat to take home.  Jack got a Mickey light spinner, and Will got an Aladdin sword.

Snack time!

Jack got to stand up and watch towards the end of the show.  He really loved it!!

The Lion King!

At the very end of the show......all the Disney Princesses came out.  The boys didn't care much about that part, ha!

I tried to get a picture of Mickey with my phone, this was the best I could do! Can't wait to go back next year!

Thanksgiving 2012

We had a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving.  Wednesday the boys and I made pumpkin pies and watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

Thursday we had breakfast and watched the Macy's Parade together, my favorite thing to do!! Then the boys bounced in the bounce house while I did some cooking.  After Jack's nap, we headed over to Gran and Coach's for dinner.  It was just our family and Gran and Coach, and the boys enjoyed spending time with them! They played outside and loved it.  We had a delicious dinner and then headed home.

The boys were exhausted! Jack had too much turkey :)
(actually if you know him, you know he didn't eat any turkey!)

The rest of the weekend was great! We finished 90% of our Christmas gift shopping!!
We had some friends over to watch the OU game.....
And the boys got a special package from Grandma and Grandpa......recordable Christmas books and Elf on the Shelf pajamas!!

We are very blessed!!

PANCAN Purplestride

On Sunday morning our family walked in the PANCAN Purplestride 5K. We planned on doing the 1 Mile Fun Run together, but somehow got on the 5K track. We got lost along the way but had a good time raising money for a cause that is close to our heart. We walked in honor of my grandma, Betty Thomas and Kara's dad, Jim Platt. Jim lost his battle with cancer in 2005. We are blessed that my grandma is a 15 year pancreatic cancer survivor. She is probably one of the only 15 year survivors ever! It is important to me to raise money and awareness about this terrible type of cancer.

Will had a lot of fun with Kara's niece, Stella.
They are too cute!

We all wore these signs.  Seeing these names on the sign made me very emotional.  Just another reminder of how blessed I am to have my grandma.
Jack wanted to get out and play! He was a trooper and lasted the whole way in the stroller.

Will and Mike
Kara with Will, Stella and Sloane.
Kara sure does have cute nieces!
My race buddy!
Here we go!
Love these two.

After the race we rushed to my nephew's baptism.  We ended up meeting everyone at lunch and these boys had a blast.

Last Game and Gattitown

The Gators had their last game of the fall season on Saturday. I am so proud of Mike and Will for doing a great job coaching and playing this fall! After the game, we all headed over to Gattitown for their soccer party!

This was our first time at Gattitown and the boys really had a wonderful time!
Will and his buddy Charlie had fun playing games together!

Jack thought Gattitown was awesome!!!
He loved all the games, and mostly loved running around with everyone.

After Gattitown we had more family pictures taken, then let the boys go to Barnes and Noble to pick out some books as a treat.  They loved this lego table.......maybe Santa can find something similar at the North Pole!
