4 Month Stats

Will went to the doctor on Wednesday and he is doing great. He weighs 15 lbs. 1 oz. and is 26 inches long. He is in the 80th percentile for height and the 50th for weight so he is still kinda tall. He had to get more shots and he was NOT happy about it at all!! Mike was out of town so I had to go to the appointment by myself and I hated having to hold Will down while he got his shots. Poor baby! Mike gets home today and Will is super excited to see his Daddy!! Here are more pictures of my 4 month old. Time flies!!

4 Months Old

Will turned 4 months old yesterday! He goes to the doctor on Wednesday for his check-up and I will have more to post after that. Here are some pictures of him laughing at the camera today.

Will's Christening

Will had a big weekend! My parents came in town last Thursday for Will's Christening. My mom and I had a lot of fun shopping and getting the house ready for a luncheon after the church service. Mike's Grandma also came in town for the Christening, so it was the first time Will got to meet one of his Great Grandmas. It was so wonderful that she could come in town and visit. Will did a great job during his part of the church service and didn't cry once. It was such a special day for our family and I am so glad all his aunts, uncles and grandparents were there to share this day with him. Here are some pictures from Will's big day.

Happy Halloween!! Will is so excited for his first Halloween! Here he is dressed as a precious puppy dog. SO CUTE!!

Playtime

Here are some recent pictures of Will playing with all his toys. He loves to play and thinks all of his toys are such fun. We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend and took pictures of Will in his Halloween costume. We had a great time and Will looked precious in his costume!! I will post pictures from the pumpkin patch on Friday. I can't wait to dress him up in his costume on Friday and he can help pass out candy to all the kids! :)

3 Months Old

Will turned 3 months old yesterday! He is growing up too fast. :) He doesn't go back to the doctor till next month, so we aren't sure how big he is but we think he weighs about 13 pounds. He is laughing and smiling all the time and has shown more interest in playing with all his toys. He has also started sitting in his Bumbo seat and that helps him learn to hold his neck and head up. He looks so cute when he sits in it!

Will's Big Weekend

Will had a fun filled weekend! My mom came to visit on Friday and Will and I picked her up from the airport and we all went shopping. Will got a beautiful gown for his Christening and a precious Christmas outfit. On Saturday Will got to see his first OU/TX game and sadly the Sooners lost. He was very upset! John and Kara got engaged over the weekend and we went to a little party for them on Sunday and Will got to meet Lisa and Scott's daughter, Stella. She is 17 months old and so so cute. We are all so happy for John and Kara and I can't wait to have a new sister-in-law!! My mom went home on Monday and we were all very sad. We had such a good time and can't wait for her to come back.. My parents will be back soon for Will's Christening in November so I am excited about that. Here are some recent pics of Will having tummy time with his puppy and in his Bumbo seat.

Stong Boy!

Will has been able to hold his head up for a while now, but I finally got some cute pictures of him holding it up today. He loves to lay on the changing table in his room and look around.......such a cutie! Here are a couple pics of him on his changing table....

Happy October!

11 Weeks

Will is going to be 11 weeks old tomorrow! He has started smiling and "talking" a lot and is much more interested in playing with his toys. He loves to lay on his play mat and stare at all the things hanging from it. He also has started trying to eat his hands and he sticks his tongue out all the time. He is quite the little ham and loves the camera. Will had started to outgrow his newborn clothes and I finally had to pack some of them up today. It made me so sad, I can't believe he is growing so fast. Here he is laying on his play mat....he is too cute!

Abby's Action Shots

John and Kara came over on Sunday and John took some fun pictures of Abby with his fancy camera. After seeing how great John's camera is, now Mike wants to get a camera just like it. John took some pictures of Will too, and I will post those later. Here are some action shots of Abby playing frisbee and with her tennis ball.....her two favorite activities!

2 Month Check-up

Will had his 2 month check-up today and he did great! He weighs 10 lbs. 13 oz. and he is 24 inches long. He is in the 25th percentile for weight and the 85th for height, so he is tall and skinny! He also got 3 shots in his little legs today and he hated it! His poor little face turned bright red and he started screaming! Thank goodness Mike was there to hold him because I couldn't watch the nurse stick the needles in him. It was so sad! Now he is taking a nap after his terrible day. Poor guy!! Happy Monday!

8 weeks old

Will is 8 weeks old today! He has started smiling all the time and I love his smiles. They are so precious. He also makes all kinds of noises and sounds like he is trying to talk to us. Here he is at 8 weeks old. He goes to the doctor next week for his 2 month checkup.

Go Sooners!

As you can see, Will had a great time watching the OU game with us last weekend. He hung out and watched most of the game with us, and then fell asleep at the end. He is such a good baby!

New Pictures

I haven't posted any pictures of Will in a while, so here are some new ones. He will be 7 weeks old tomorrow! He is getting so big, I can't believe it. We had a fun Labor Day weekend with my parents in town. Will loves hanging with his grandparents!

5 Weeks Old!

Will had his one month dr. appointment today and he is doing awesome. He weighs 8 lbs. 3 oz. and is 21 1/4 inches long. The doctor said he is perfect! Will also slept 6 hours straight last night, which was wonderful. Hopefully he will start doing that every night. Here is a picture of him from today.....such a cute little stinker!

One Month Old

Will is one month old today!! It really has gone by so fast. He keeps growing and growing....and eating more and more. Last night he slept for six and a half hours straight....so that was wonderful! Here are some pictures I took of him today.

4 Weeks Old

Will turned 4 weeks old yesterday. It is going by so fast! On Saturday he will be one month old and I cannot believe it. He is such a good baby. He has been sleeping really well and we are very thankful for that. Right now he has "baby acne" so that is why there are little red spots on his face. Hopefully they will go away soon!

Two Weeks Old

Yesterday Will turned 2 weeks old. I cannot believe it has been 2 weeks already! He has his 2 week checkup on Friday and I am anxious to see what they say...and if he is back up to his birth weight already. I will post more tomorrow after his appointment. Will is HERE!

William Thomas Hayward was born on July 16, 2008 at 6:23 p.m. He weighed 6 lbs. and 12 oz. and was 20 inches long. He is the most beautiful baby and we are so blessed to have him! I ended up having a c-section after being in labor for over 12 hours because his head was turned sideways and the cord was stuck around his neck. The c-section went great and he is perfect! I will post more pictures and info soon. Here is a picture of him at 5 days old.

Belly Pic - 36 weeks

Here is a pic of my belly at a little over 36 weeks. I went to the doctor on Friday and the baby weighs 6 lbs. 6 oz. and is in the 53rd percentile. As of right now, I will probably be induced sometime between July 15th and July 18th, because my doctor doesn't want me to have to deliver an 8 lb. baby..and if we waited till my due date he could be at least 8 lbs. On Thursday when I go to the doctor, we will get to schedule the induction date. Pretty exciting! Will is going to be here in about 2 and a half weeks!

Busy Weekend!

This weekend my parents were in town and we did a lot of work. The nursery is pretty much finished.....and we put together the bassinet, pack n play, organized Will's closet, etc. I am so glad my parents were here to help out. Here are some pictures of some of Will's things.....John got him the red wagon, which we filled with books and toys and put in the loft. I also got Will's coming home outift at The Tiney Hiney on Friday. I went shopping with my mom and Grandmothers and found it. It is precious and I can't wait to take him home in it.
