Trip to the Park

Earlier this week I took Will to the park by our house and he had a great time! He got to swing and he LOVED it. He also played in the grass, tried to crawl around on his quilt and played with his soccer ball. He enjoyed watching the other kids play around on the playground too. He thought the grass was very interesting and even tried to eat it a few times. He had such a good time that we are going to try to go at least twice a week.

Baby In a Box

My mom sent Will an Easter basket from Pottery Barn Kids and it came in this really big box. Well, yesterday Mike decided to put Will in the empty box. Will thought it was pretty funny and he actually liked playing in it. Plus, he looks pretty cute sitting in an emtpy box. :)

8 Months Old

Will is 8 months old today! I know I say this every month, but I really can't believe how big he is getting! It is going by way too fast. He is working on crawling, but hasn't mastered it quite yet. He rolls all over the house and that seems to be his favorite way to get around from place to place. He is a funny little guy!

Shopping with Mommy

Yesterday Will and I went to the grocery store and he got to ride in the shopping cart. I took this picture with my cell phone so the quality isn't very good, but he still looks precious!

Best Friends

I know I have posted pictures of Will and Emma before, but I took some more pics yesterday and they are too cute not to post. Emma is so good with him!

My Breckenridge Baby

We had a great time skiing in Breckenridge and enjoyed hanging out at my mom and dad's house in Colorado after skiing. Thanks Mom and Dad for the great trip! Will loved all the snow, watching the skiers, and cruising around Breckenridge in his stroller. I can't wait to go back next year.

Will's First Flight

We recently flew to Colorado to ski and visit my parents for a week. This was Will's first trip to Colorado and first time on a plane! He did such a good job on the flight, I was very impressed. Here are some pictures of him on the plane, riding in his own seat! The flight wasn't full either time we flew, so we had plenty of room for him to sit and play.

7 Months Old

Will is seven months old today! I cannot believe it! He loves to play with all his toys and loves to play with our dogs. He has been eating solid food for a month now and is a pretty good eater. He loves carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, pears, and applesauce. I am having a hard time getting him to eat peas and green beans. I started making my own baby food for him and he loves it so far. It is really easy and I have tons of meals stored up in the freezer for him. In other news, Will is going to take his first ride on an airplane this weekend! We are taking him to Colorado to ski and visit his grandparents. I hope we have patient people sitting near us on the plane!

Will and Emma

Will loves playing with Emma, and Emma LOVES to play with Will. It is really cute to watch them together. Will laughs and smiles when he sees Emma and Abby. They love to lick his hands and he thinks its the funniest thing ever. I know they are going to be the best of friends!

New Camera

We got a new DSLR camera for Christmas and I am just now getting around to uploading pictures from it to our new computer. I love the camera and it takes such good pictures. I don't really know how to use all its features yet, but I am learning. I took some pictures of Will last week and I thought they were pretty cute! Will is still loving all his solid foods....He loves all the veggies we've given him and today he got to try pears....his first fruit! Yummy!!

6 Months Old

Will is 6 months old today! We went to the doctor this morning and he is doing great. He is in the 60th percentile for weight, 75th for height and his head is in the 80th percentile. I guess he has a lot of brains! He had to get some more shots and he was not happy about it at all. He screamed and his face turned purple. Poor little guy! Happy 6 Month Old Birthday to my sweet baby boy!

First Food

We just started giving Will "real food" a couple of days ago and he seems to like it so far. I gave him a little bit of rice cereal, but he didn't seem to like it so we skipped it and tried giving him sweet potatoes instead. He wasn't sure about them at first, but he loves it and opens his mouth as soon as he sees the spoon coming towards him. He is a pro already! Next week he will get to try a new food......either carrots or green beans. YUMMY!

Will's First Christmas

Will had a wonderful first Christmas. My parents came in town and were here for a few days, which was great! We had Christmas morning at our house and Will got LOTS of presents from Santa. He loved opening gifts and actually liked the wrapping paper more than any of his presents. The day after Christmas we drove up to Arkansas to see my grandparents and everyone got to meet Will. Everyone loved him and he did really well on his first road trip. Here are some pictures of all Will's gifts from Santa, Will on Christmas morning and in the car ready to go on his first road trip. Please excuse the sheets all over the inside of our car. Abby and Emma rode in the Sequoia for the first time and we were trying to keep dog hair from getting everywhere!

Donner and Blitzen

A few weekends ago Mike and I took Will up to Allen to see Santa and his reindeer. They had two live reindeer there and Will thought they were pretty neat! He didn't get to pet them, but maybe next year. Here are some pictures of Will with Donner and Blitzen.

4 Month Stats

Will went to the doctor on Wednesday and he is doing great. He weighs 15 lbs. 1 oz. and is 26 inches long. He is in the 80th percentile for height and the 50th for weight so he is still kinda tall. He had to get more shots and he was NOT happy about it at all!! Mike was out of town so I had to go to the appointment by myself and I hated having to hold Will down while he got his shots. Poor baby! Mike gets home today and Will is super excited to see his Daddy!! Here are more pictures of my 4 month old. Time flies!!

4 Months Old

Will turned 4 months old yesterday! He goes to the doctor on Wednesday for his check-up and I will have more to post after that. Here are some pictures of him laughing at the camera today.

Will's Christening

Will had a big weekend! My parents came in town last Thursday for Will's Christening. My mom and I had a lot of fun shopping and getting the house ready for a luncheon after the church service. Mike's Grandma also came in town for the Christening, so it was the first time Will got to meet one of his Great Grandmas. It was so wonderful that she could come in town and visit. Will did a great job during his part of the church service and didn't cry once. It was such a special day for our family and I am so glad all his aunts, uncles and grandparents were there to share this day with him. Here are some pictures from Will's big day.
